Bob Carpenter Memorial Christian Aid Walk May 2006
The Bob Carpenter Christian Aid Walk 2006, was held on Saturday 20th May. Afterwards there were refreshments as can be seen on the two lower pictures, when the walkers have an earned rest!

Barleylands Essex Country Show September 2006
We had a stand at the Barleylands Steam & Country Show in September 2002, 2003, 2004 and 2005, in conjunction with Churches Together in Essex and East London, in their Marque - see the pictures below. Since there is not going to be an Essex Show Again in 2006, we will be repeating the Event in 2006. The Essex Country Show will be held on Saturday 9 and Sunday 10 September 2006 from 10am to 5 pm on both days. Last year over 40,000 people attended the event over the two days. We will be having a marque again (with childrens activities, Traidcraft, prayer corner, flower arranging, free raffle and other activities), and the demonstration bell this year. Barleylands Website Map | Transport to Barleylands Road: There are Free Car Parks in fields from each direction you approach the site. Public Transport: On Saturday the 100 First Group bus from Chelmsford to Lakeside via Billericay and Basildon goes straight past the entrance every 20 minutes. There are rail connections to this bus at Chelmsford and Billericay using One Great Eastern services, and at Basildon with the c2c service from Southend to London. On Saturday there is an hourly 222 NIBS Bus from Wickford to Billericay, its bus stop is on the North side of the site. On Sunday there is only the two hourly 222 NIBS bus from Southend to Brentwood via Wickford and Billericay. There are rail connections to this bus at Shenfield and Billericay using One Great Eastern services. BILLERICAY FUN NIGHT December 2006
The High Street is closed off to traffic, in the evening. The shops stay open late. There are various stalls and fun fair rides in the High Street. There are carol singers. In St Mary Magdalen Church in the High Street there is a continuous Carol Service with Coffee and Mince Pies. Below please see some of the pictures from previous years.
